In this short visualizer, Maya talks about a fleeting connection between two lovers. It talks about a spark so intense, it burns up before it even gets the chance to grow into an everlasting flame. Addressing the push-and-pull dynamic between two people, 'Gone Girl' navigates themes of loneliness, disconnection, and self-destructiveness. Influenced by the movie Fallen Angels, the single and video captures these atmospheric tones.
